Modern Art: Iri5
Monday, April 6th, 2009This weekend I found some great work, among which Iri5′s stunningly original art. What she does is create entire portraits out of exactly one tape, or a film reel, or a print of a certain painting, or old photos. Her material is very consistently old and discarded, or lying around being useless. She turns it into something new, visually evoking and lasting.
